Cloudflare released two decision models, Clef and the smaller Clef-flash, published on Hugging Face under the Apache 2.0 licence, though their training data is not public. Their API is Jev-compatible, and they also read images and video, while The Register described Jev as limited to text. Cloudflare reported that Clef beat Jev in three of four areas of TypeSafe's benchmarks, losing on agent trace observability; these scores are self-reported and had not been reproduced on the official index.
