A Texas jury found Odessa cardiologist Ramachandra Kolluru and the dispensing pharmacy equally liable, $225,000 each, for the death of Ramon Vasquez after an illegible prescription for Isordil was filled as Plendil; the verdict was described as probably the first US case finding a physician negligent solely because of poor handwriting.
