A survey of 10 experienced psilocybin guides yielded recommendations whose analysis characterized peak-period music as having regular, predictable, formulaic phrase structure and orchestration, a feeling of continuous forward motion that slowly builds, and lower perceptual brightness than the music played in the period leading up to the peak.
