Today's Update: Article quality warnings on wiki pages
Until now, readers had no at-a-glance signal about whether an article had ever been fact-checked — or whether open issues remained. Today's release adds two targeted warning banners that make article quality visible directly on the page.
When you landed on a wiki article, there was no signal about whether it had ever been reviewed — or whether a recent check had flagged serious problems. Today's release makes both of those states visible at a glance.
What shipped
- Draft warning banner for never-checked articles. Articles that have never had a completed fact-check now show an amber notice at the top of the page, letting readers know the content hasn't yet been verified. Meta and tool pages are excluded.
- Unresolved issues banner for recent checks. If any completed check within the last 30 days of the latest revision has unresolved high-severity issues, an additional warning banner is shown. It lists each qualifying check type with an issue count and a direct link to the check detail page.
- "Recent checks" link. The issues banner includes a link to the page's checks subpage, so readers can quickly review the full picture.
Both banners apply to all standard wiki article pages. They do not appear on meta or tool pages.
